From Glasgow, Montana you will head north towards the Canadian border. The first stop is St. Marie, the once thriving air force base, then north to Ophiem, a visit to the remnants of a cold war era radar base. You will then continue west along the border to the historical town of Theoney, a community that was all but wiped out from the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic.
On your return towards Glasgow you have two options to choose from: South to Rock Creek Road, winding your way through vast overlooks with explorable uninhabited landscapes; or cruise the gravel roads of north Hinsdale passed abandoned dance halls, schools and forgotten homesteads. Tour includes meal and a snack. Call for pricing and details.
From Glasgow your tour will head south along the back roads west of Fort Peck lake. You will have multiple photo stops, including The Pines, Bone Trail, the Missouri River and Charles M. Russell wild life refuge. Along this tour you may see many species of wild animals, epic vistas, the Stone House, and off-grid living.
This tour takes you to personally experience the TRUE disconnect from the busy pace of life somewhere to the eternal ease of the middle of nowhere U.S.A. Tour includes meals and snacks.
